Leeds reaches new heights

90% of Leeds students are satisfied with teaching on their course, according to the 2012 National Student Survey. Leeds' student union was ranked as one of the country's best. Leeds' scores improved in all seven categories of the Survey, overall satisfaction rose to 87%, with the greatest increase in assessment and feedback (up 4 percentage points) and the scores for academic support and personal development both up 3 percentage points. The score of 90% for satisfaction with the students’ union, Leeds Univeristy Union, is significantly ahead of the 66% sector average and is the second highest in the Russell Group. Our library resources are ranked joint fifth in the Russell Group and our IT facilities joint sixth. The continued improvements in Leeds' results follow ongoing investment to ensure we provide students with an inspirational learning environment. The score for the percentage of students satifised with teaching on their course rose from 88% to 90%.
