Likely congestion around campus on Monday evening. Students, staff and visitors may experience traffic congestion on and around campus on Monday evening (13 May), when Brighton & Hove Albion take on local rivals Crystal Palace in the second leg of the Championship play-off semi-final at Falmer stadium. A capacity crowd of around 30,000 is expected for the 7.45pm kick-off. Car parking The football club will use some parking spaces in five designated car parks on campus, in addition to spaces elsewhere in Brighton. Campus access - for up to 700 cars - is only via the link road (Stony Mere Way) that runs past Stanmer Park. Stewards will be in place at this entry point to campus. The car parks designated for use by the football club are the Sportcentre (P5), Sussex House (P4), Biology Road (P3), and Science (P1) car parks.
