Babak Falsafi received the "Micro Hall of Fame" award at Micro 2011 (44th Annual IEEE/ACM International Symposium on Microarchitecture) this year in Brazil. Micro 2011 is the flagship microarchitecture conference: it is responsible for many of the techniques incorporated into modern microprocessors over the past forty years. In computer architecture, the primary venue for dissemination is conferences, like Micro 2011. Additionally, such top-tier conferences are quite selective. The "Micro Hall of Fame" award is granted to those who have had eight or more papers at Micro 2011 over the years.
