Its mission is, among other things, to search for traces of ancient life on the Red Planet. Four researchers from LGL-TPE - Cathy Quantin-Nataf, Gilles Dromart, Gilles Montagnac and Erwin Dehouck - are members of a research team that developed one of the instruments on board the rover: the SuperCam.
