New Director for Research School of Management »

The ANU has appointed prominent business academic Professor Byron Keating as Director of the Research School of Management in the University's College of Business and Economics (CBE). Professor Keating, an Australian Research Council Linkage Industry Fellow, is the former Head of the School of Management at the University of Canberra. He has also held positions at the University of New South Wales, the University of Wollongong, and the National University of Singapore. During his career Professor Keating, the sole academic member of the Australian Government's Service Leaders Group, has focused on bridging the gap between industry, government and academe and his expertise is regularly sought by industry and government. Dean of CBE, Professor Shirley Leitch, congratulated Professor Keating on his appointment and said she looked forward to working with him. "Professor Keating is a world-class researcher with a strong record in fostering collaboration with industry and government. He will be an invaluable addition to our leadership team," Professor Leitch said.
