New UK-India study partnership in law, business, politics and public policy

Queen Mary University of London and OP Jindal Global University, based in Delhi, India, have signed an agreement to collaborate on research and teaching in social sciences subjects, including twinned Masters programmes. This is the first partnership of its kind that Queen Mary has entered into with an Indian institution, with extensive study abroad and academic exchanges focused on Business and Management, Politics and International Relations, and Law. Students from OP Jindal Global University will be able to progress from the first year of their Masters course in Delhi to study a one-year Masters at Queen Mary, leading to a degree from both institutions. The aim is to promote excellence in the social sciences based on the longstanding commonwealth links between the British and Indian educational systems. OP Jindal's vision is to deliver a world-class global education experience and aims to equip students to become global citizens. OP Jindal also aims to be one of India's first top 200 global universities. The signing of these agreements marks the start of a broad partnership with OP Jindal, and increasing investment in joint activities with India as a whole.
