Nottingham scores new sports facilities

The University of Nottingham is further expanding its facilities to students and is developing two new sports pavilions worth £4.8million. Planning permission has been granted for the two new pavilions, which will be constructed at the University's Riverside Sports Complex. The modern facilities, which will replace the current dated changing rooms, have been designed by Nottingham architects CPMG. The two 800 sq m pavilions will provide spacious and flexible changing facilities to support the University's continued commitment to sport at the site. Thirty-eight changing rooms are being provided to accommodate teams playing a range of sports including football, cricket, rugby and American football. There will also be viewing galleries. The new facilities will be available for bookings by members of the public, as well as to students.
