Politics teaching packs a punch: award winners collect prize

PA 140/11 - Politics teaching standards at The University of Nottingham have been recognised by a national award for two of its lecturers. Dr Sue Pryce and Dr Gulshan Khan have won two Political Studies Association's (PSA) teaching awards for 2011. Dr Pryce won the Bernard Crick Teaching Prize and Dr Khan the equivalent prize for new entrants to the profession. Both received their awards at a special ceremony in London last night. No politics school in the UK has won more PSA awards than The University of Nottingham's School of Politics and International Relations. "This is fantastic news," says Professor Philip Cowley, from the school,"but not surprising. Both Sue and Gulshan are popular and committed lecturers who give our students an enormous amount of value and enthuse them for the subject.
