Prime Minister recognises leaders of tomorrow

Six ANU students are among a list of recipients of the Prime Minister's Australia Asia Awards, announced by Julia Gillard. Undergraduate students Kate Robinson, Maria-Alice McLean-Dreyfus and Samuel Angus Lake Wall as well as postgraduates Elena McKinlay, Lauren Kate Richardson and Samuel McGlennon have been named some of Australia's best and brightest. 40 scholarships are provided annually to Australian university students to build deep and enduring educational and professional links between Australia and Asia. The winners are given the opportunity to work and study in a number of Asian countries to broaden their professional and personal horizons.
