Q & Asia: Where is Asia headed?

A panel of experts including Professor Andrew MacIntyre, Kathy Morton, Professor Stephen Howes and Professor Veronica Taylor will discuss where Asia is headed in the inaugural 'Q & Asia' event to be screened on ABC television's Big Ideas show on Sunday. The event was recorded at the Crawford School of Economics and Government on 14 July and formed part of Asia Pacific Week 2011. It was moderated by ABC's Virginia Haussegger. The panellists discuss issues facing Asia such a where the region is going, and how its rise will affect the rest of the world, as well as the risks associated with Asian economic and political power. After the event is screened on Big Ideas on Sunday, it will be available on ABC iView - the broadcaster's television on-demand website. Big Ideas Q & Asia: Where is Asia headed?  will be screened at 1pm on Sunday 11 September on ABC News 24. It will also be available on ANU Channel on YouTube from Monday.
