Rectorial Election - time to vote

The Rectorial Election is taking place on Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 February. Online voting is open to all University of Glasgow Students. Go to < http://www.gla.ac.uk/vote > to vote now. Four candidates have been nominated for the position of Rector of the University of Glasgow. Alan Bissett Kelvin Holdsworth Graeme Obree Edward Snowden The Rector of the University of Glasgow is elected by the registered students of the University and the main role of the Rector is to represent the University's students. Charles Kennedy MP has held the post of Rector for the past six years, having secured election in 2008 and again in 2011. The next election will be held online with voting open from 0900 Monday 17 to 1600 on Tuesday 18 February 2014, and the winning candidate will hold the office for a period of three years.
