Featured Emma Moran, who completed an MA in Screenwriting at The University of Manchester in 2020, has had her original comedy show Extraordinary greenlit for Disney+, after teaming up with BAFTA, Golden Globe. On International Women's Day (Monday 8 March) we were joined for an in conversation event with Maxine Peake , Honorary Professor of Literature and Performance at The University of Manchester. The Martin Harris Centre and The University of Manchester's Department of Music have brought the joy of live performance to a new universal audience online. Music Online is available via YouTube and is sharing new musical performances from across the genres regularly. Our music students have been busy recently working on new, inventive ways to keep the music playing throughout lockdown. Our chamber choirs Ad Solem and the Cosmo Singers have made a lockdown album.
