Solène Denolly, recipient of the thesis prize "Fundamental Research on Virtual Hepatitis"

This award is given for theses defended in 2018 on viral hepatitis. Solène Denolly is the recipient of the AC42 thesis award "Fundamental Research on Virtual Hepatitis" from the ANRS for her thesis defended in 2018 under the title HCV assembly : from clustering of viral assembly factors to envelopment and lipidation of particles. A prize of 1500¤ was awarded to her at the meeting of the French National Hepatitis Network on February 7 and 8, 2019. The ceremony was also an opportunity for Solène Denolly to present her work to a panel of specialists. Solène Denolly is currently a postdoctoral researcher at CIRI in the team of Francois-Loic Cosset. She is interested in host-pathogen interactions and is particularly interested in understanding how the hepatitis C virus uses neutral lipid acquisition to regulate the different stages of its viral cycle.
