Das Projekt SMART-FI
Today, 54% of the world population live in cities and by 2050, this figure is estimated to reach 66%. Worldwide, cities are ever-stronger facing numerous challenges and a stringent need to optimize their urban processes, infrastructure and facilities, such as urban transportation and energy management, in order to make the cities of the future smarter and more livable. SMART-FI is a 1. M? project with the main aim to provide a Smart City platform that will serve as a foundation for creating a sustainable ecosystem for realizing future Smart Cities. Main objective of the SMART-FI project is to facilitate the interaction between humans and smart devices in three main activities: collecting, communicating and exploiting Smart City data. To this end, the SMART-FI platform strives to enable collecting the data from a variety of sources, such as sensors, mobile devices or public services. Secondly, the platform will provide mechanisms to enable homogenizing and communicating the data coming from different networks and protocols.
