Find out more about this cost-effective way to travel in a more environmentally friendly way. In June 2023, we introduced UCL EV salary sacrifice lease scheme. This initiative represents a significant stride towards both enhancing UCL's employee benefits and advancing UCL's sustainability goals. Currently, 52 EVs have been ordered, with 46 already on the road. How does it work? . You can choose an electric vehicle to lease over two or three years via a 'salary sacrifice scheme'. This is where employees can forgo a fixed amount of their gross salary each month in exchange for a non-cash benefit - in this case the cost of leasing an electric car.
