UCL Open Access Guidelines and Publications Guide

UCL guidelines on open access and a publications guide are available to UCL researchers. The  RCUK Policy on Open Access  introduces, with effect from 1 April 2013, new open access requirements for research papers funded by the Research Councils. UCL Library Services, with the Office of the Vice-Provost (Research), has drawn up some  Guidelines , which explain how the Policy will be implemented at UCL and set out the different methods of complying. To support researchers, UCL Library Services has also compiled a  Publications Guide  that includes advice and tools tailored to UCL's RCUK-funded authors, enabling them to claim funds for open access charges and deposit their publications in UCL Discovery. UCL staff may also view the  submissions  by the Vice-Provost (Research) to Parliamentary inquiries on open access.
