UCLA presents ’The Devils,’ based on book by Aldous Huxley
WHAT: The UCLA Department of Theater presents "The Devils," a 1960 dramatization by John Whiting of Aldous Huxley's nonfiction "The Devils of Loudun," about a priest accused of Satanism and burned at the stake in 17th-century France. The production is directed by M.F.A. candidate Patrick Kennelly. WHEN: 8 p.m. April 17?18 and April 22?25 (additional 2 p.m. shows on April 18 and 25) WHERE: UCLA's Freud Playhouse in Macgowan Hall, in the northeast section of the UCLA campus (nearest campus entrance at Sunset Boulevard and Hilgard Avenue) Map for Macgowan Hall COST: Admission is $17 for the general public; $15 for senior citizens and UCLA faculty, staff and alumni; $10 per person for groups of 10 or more; and $7 for students. Parking costs $9 and can be purchased at the entrance to Lot 3 or at the parking kiosk on Wyton Drive, just off Hilgard Avenue. A limited number of pay-box parking spaces are also available in Lot 3.
