Time is running out for people to make nominations for the University of Plymouth's Vice-Chancellor's Enterprise Awards, which will celebrate enterprise excellence. Time is running out for people to make nominations for the University of Plymouth's Vice-Chancellor's Enterprise Awards, which will celebrate enterprise excellence. The awards will be a regular part of the University's calendar, with the aim of recognising and celebrating the contributions that are being made as part of the University of Plymouth's enterprise mission. There are categories for University students, staff and graduates, as well as partner organisations, businesses, community groups and social enterprises. Sixteen awards will be presented later this year including: an Outstanding New Business Award for Plymouth, Enterprise in Cornwall Award, Social Enterprise of the Year, Mentor of the Year, Employer of the Year, Community Engagement Award and the University of Plymouth Outstanding Contribution of the Year Award. Marc Lintern, Head of Student Development and Employability, said: "We have already had a good response with some fantastic examples of enterprise across the region being put forward as nominations. These awards aren't just focused on the University - we're keen to celebrate business and social enterprise success as well as the talent of our staff and students.
