University of Plymouth to host Postgraduate and Professional Open Evening

From applied marine science to fine art; international relations to advanced healthcare practice: the University of Plymouth is set to showcase a broad range of postgraduate and continuing professional development opportunities at an open evening this month. Anyone who has finished a degree and is looking for a new challenge, or is simply curious to find out what the University of Plymouth offers individuals and companies, can come along and learn about the various programmes available. These range from certificates and diplomas to masters and PhDs, and they will all be featured at the Postgraduate and Professional Open Evening, which is being held in the Roland Levinsky Building between 3.30pm and 6.30pm, on Tuesday 16 March. Lecturers and administrative staff will be on hand to answer questions and give advice, guidance and information about programmes and courses available. There will also be information and advice on general funding. Susan Lynch, Postgraduate Marketing Manager and event organiser, said the range of courses was designed to appeal to a broad spectrum of potential applicants. She said: " Postgraduate and professional courses are a great way to improve your employability and widen your horizons through life-long learning." "The Open Evening is a chance to find out about the range of opportunities on offer, talk to the people who run the courses, and get a feel for the atmosphere here on campus.”" The Postgraduate and Professional Open Evening is a drop-in session that is open to all members of the public.
