UQ leads the nation in Highly Cited Researcher awards

The University of Queensland has received the highest number of Highly Cited Researcher (HCR) awards in Australia for the third year in a row. UQ received 40 of the prestigious awards in the 2023 Clarivate HCR list , in equal place with the University of Melbourne. Globally, the University was the 25 most awarded institution. The awards recognise the exceptional performance of UQ researchers who have a significant number of papers in the top 1% most cited in their field and year of publication. Eight UQ researchers made the list for the first time this year. The full list can be found online here.
