UvA ranked number one Dutch university in QS World University Rankings
The University of Amsterdam (UvA) has climbed six spots in this year's QS World University Rankings, and is now 55th in the world. This places the UvA as the top Dutch university on the list and within the top 5% globally. After evaluating a total 1,673 universities, QS included 1,300 of the universities in their 2021-2022 rankings, which were published on Tuesday, 8 June. Methodology. The QS World University Rankings are compiled based on six criteria: academic reputation (40%), employer reputation (10%), citations per faculty (20%), student to faculty ration (20%), international faculty (5%) and international students (5%).
