Durham has again been ranked in the World Top 100 universities
Durham University has again been ranked as a World Top 100 university - putting us in the top eight per cent of universities worldwide. The QS World University Rankings 2020 place Durham 78th globally out of more than 1,000 higher education institutions and 24th in Europe. This recognises the outstanding quality of our research, education and overall student experience. Outstanding graduates More than 45,000 of the world's leading employers have also ranked us 44th globally, and ninth nationally, for the quality of our outstanding graduates, according to the QS rankings. The league table also recognises the impact and quality of our research, where we're 63rd globally and third in the UK, as well as our work to attract increasing numbers of leading researchers from around the world to Durham. The QS World University Rankings 2020 is just the latest league table success we are celebrating. Record performance A record 18 of our subjects are ranked in the World Top 100 in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2019, including ten in the World Top 50.
