• Toolpoint is a cluster initiative focused on Life Science Instrument Companies
• Toolpoint generates benefits by combining competencies across member companies with mutual interests in order to increase their competitiveness by reducing costs, increasing efficiency and enabling inter-company projects.
• Toolpoint boosts innovation by actively promoting technology transfer.
• All activities are geared to real industry needs and function according to the Pull Principle.
• Toolpoint initiates and coordinates platforms, projects and expert groups in order to implement requirements. Specialists from expert groups and project teams are appointed by the participating companies.
• Toolpoint opens doors for start-ups, spin-offs and newcomers and facilitates their rapid market entry.
• Toolpoint is actively engaged in location marketing for the ’Greater Zurich Area’ and supports the founding of new companies in the region. It promotes the continued supply of qualified personnel along the entire education chain.
