Position Description

Classification: ANU Officer 5/6 (Research)
Salary package: $87,570 - $102,887 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms:  Fixed-term, full-time (until 30 June 2027)

The Position

The Research Officer will be supporting Indigenous-led, community-driven research programs, including tobacco and vaping eradication, youth empowerment initiatives, culturally grounded prevention, and knowledge translation, aligned with the Centre’s vision for Indigenous-led, strengths-based approaches to wellbeing.

The Person

The preferred candidate will be well-organised, efficient, culturally sensitive and able to liaise effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders and non-Indigenous clients. They will report to a Senior Academic and be highly responsive and supportive of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous academics and professional staff in the Centre. They will work well with other staff in NCEPH, the College and other areas of the ANU, including members of the public and external stakeholders.
