Carver College of Medicine is seeking a research-track Assistant Professor. We seek qualified applicants to lead basic and translational research projects towards improved understanding of neuropathology, neurodegenerative diseases, tauopathies, and progressive supranuclear palsy. The successful applicant will also be responsible for generating and assisting in new proposals for intramural and extramural research funding both as a PI and co-PI, as well as contributing to ongoing funded research activities and core laboratory oversight. Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any misconduct history or pending research misconduct investigation including but not limited to sexual misconduct in prior employment and provide a related release and will be subject to a criminal background and credential check. Education Requirement: Candidates must have a doctoral degree (Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent) and a minimum of two years of Assistant Research Scientist or Director experience in basic and translational neuropathology research is required.
