NRI’s work is globally respected and has won many awards including a recent Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Further and Higher Education. The Institute is located at the University’s Medway Campus in Chatham Maritime, Kent. The role is a fixed term, full time maternity cover. We are looking for a highly motivated individual capable of supporting complex administrative standards and systems within a teaching support office environment. The successful candidate will join a team of dedicated, professional services staff within NRI ensuring successful delivery of NRI’s business. On a daily basis you will support core student administrative activities such as student wellbeing, faculty assessment panels, examinations administration, awards ceremonies, registration, attendance monitoring and retention. You will have proven experience of working in a busy student office using office IT systems to support delivery of graduate and postgraduate teaching experience. The role is based in a deadline-driven office in a teaching and research environment. You should also have an interest in, and commitment to, the work of the Institute. Please note, this position is not hybrid and the successful candidate will be expected to be in the office five days a week.
