Deputy Manager, Coursework Scholarships
Position Description Classification: ANU Officer 8 Salary package: $121,359 - $129,772 per annum plus 17% superannuation Terms: Full-time, Continuing Priority consideration will be given to staff within the Education Portfolio, including College Staff transitioning into the Education Portfolio. The Position The Deputy Manager, Coursework Scholarships provides strategic and operational leadership within the Coursework Scholarships Office, supporting the delivery of high-quality, student-focused financial award services across the University. Reporting to the Manager, Coursework Scholarships and supervising a large team, the role oversees day-to-day operations, ensures compliance with University and government legislation, and provides authoritative advice on scholarships, Commonwealth support, student payments and records. The Deputy Manager plays a key role in maintaining governance, financial integrity, and continuous business improvement across scholarship administration processes. This position requires strong leadership capability, highly developed analytical and organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex higher education environment. The successful candidate will build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, represent the Division in committees and working groups, and foster a collaborative, service-oriented culture within the team.
