You will learn the ebbs and flows of the yearly academic cycle, assisting with and identifying efficiency gains to smooth the operational peaks and valleys to facilitate improvement of the student experience. In this position, you will work closely with the Secretary of the Board of Examinors and colleagues from the International Office/Internship Office. You operate at the intersection of student and educational request processes and legal guidance. With this unique perspective, you ensure that legally based student procedures are handled carefully, efficiently, and professionally. Your main tasks will include:
In addition, you will have several responsibilities that will require attention on a sporadic basis. Prior to the start of an upcoming academic year, this role serves as secretary to the BSA committee for first year Bachelor students that provides binding study advice on the continuation of studies. Furthermore, your work will be further shaped in consultation with your immediate colleagues, depending on your knowledge and expertise. In other words: it is a varied and responsible position in which you make an essential contribution to our education, both independently and together with colleagues. Job requirements We are looking for a passionate legal assistant for 5 days a week. Because we are an international university, an excellent command of Dutch and English (both verbally and in writing) is necessary. You preferably have a completed relevant education (such as HBO Law), and relevant work experience is a plus, not a requirement. What we really care about:
