Your opportunity: Reporting to the Director, Risk Management & Pool Operations and under the general supervision of the Assistant Facility Manager, the Pool Supervisor works within the aquatics team to provide front line leadership to ensure a safe & secure environment for patrons, students, members and staff. The Pool Supervisor plays an integral role in ensuring the facilities and equipment is properly maintained, including pool water chemistry. The incumbent conducts routine inspections, follows procedures for opening/closing work areas, ensures compliance with legislated regulations and occupational safety, trains and directs the work of aquatic staff. The Pool Supervisor is responsible for response and leadership in emergency situations that take place within the pool enclosures, the community change rooms and also within the Athletic Centre or other designated facility and on-site facility leadership during special events Your responsibilities will include:
