Course description : Atoms, orbitals, chemical bonding and molecular geometry; stoichiometry, chemical equations and quantitative relations; solutions and redox reactions; gas laws; thermochemistry, thermodynamics and kinetics; principles of equilibrium and ionic equilibria; acids and bases, pH, solubility, and buffer solutions. Includes a 3 hour lab.
