Leeds Institute of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Medicine Are you medically qualified and ambitious with an interest in research and cardiac magnetic resonance? Do you have experience of working in cardiology and cardiac imaging? We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our research team, working in cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging. The post specifically supports our recently awarded British Heart Foundation Accelerator award, which aims to study the cardiovascular effects of type 2 diabetes mellitus on patients with heart failure. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, basic scientists and imaging experts who jointly deliver this award. You will have the opportunity to register for an MD or PhD at the University of Leeds and have the opportunity to undertake clinical training in CMR up to Level 3. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a cardiology trainee, especially if you are aiming to sub specialise in the field of imaging, or pursue an academic career. You will be medically qualified, with MRCP or equivalent, a training number in cardiology and full GMC registration. What we offer in return
