About the role

The University of Leicester is seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer (Teaching Focussed) in Spanish and Latin American Studies to deliver high-quality, research-inspired teaching across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

You will bring high proficiency in Spanish , strong teaching experience, and the ability to contribute to curriculum development, student support, and an excellent student experience. The role includes teaching language and cultural modules, supervising dissertations, providing inclusive feedback, and contributing to School and University initiatives that support employability, outreach and citizenship activity.

About you

We are looking for a colleague with a completed PhD (or equivalent experience) , demonstrable excellence in teaching, and commitment to equity, diversity and inclusive education. Fellowship of the HEA (or willingness to gain accreditation) is required.
