2018 Nobel Prize in Physics : Statement about ELI project video

A video produced in 2009 and featuring Gérard Mourou, winner of the 2018 Nobel Prize in Physics, is currently circulating on social networks.

It contains images degrading to women and contrary to the values upheld by the École Polytechnique, ENSTA ParisTech, and the CNRS, who all declare they neither requested nor funded its production.

At the time, as the CNRS was wrongly credited in the video, its management asked that its name be removed. This demand went unheeded.
