Beyond capitalism? Sir Mark Moody-Stuart

Plymouth Business School recently launched a series of lectures, titled Beyond Capitalism', designed to explore how businesses and policy makers can help promote and prepare for new economic challenges and opportunities that are likely to emerge in the future. Two lectures have been successfully delivered by eminent speakers, Tony Juniper and Mark Serwotka, who presented to sell-out audiences. The next lecture in the series takes place on 18 April 2013 at Plymouth University with Sir Mark Moody-Stuart. The lecture will discuss how companies may operate in the future and how capitalism will develop to take into account wealth equality, the environment and responsible investing. Sir Mark Moody-Stuart is Chairman of Hermes Equity Ownership Services and a director of Accenture and of Saudi Aramco. After a doctorate in geology at Cambridge in 1966, he worked for Shell starting as an exploration geologist. He has held the position of Chairman at the Royal Dutch/Shell Group and at Anglo American plc.
