Boundary walk starts Commit To Get Fit challenge. The month-long Commit To Get Fit challenge was kicked off with the annual campus boundary walk on Wednesday (30 April). 138 staff took part in the 2.5 mile walk led by Sports Development Officer, Luke Terrill and Geography Tutor, Dr Geoffrey Mead. The walk involved a talk by Dr Mead about the history and geology of the University landscape and its surroundings. 20 teams will be competing in this year's Commit to Get Fit, with more than 200 staff signed up from across campus. Participants will be encouraged to exercise more, eat more healthily and try new activities. Sussexsport has offered staff a complimentary one-month membership and has put on a programme of additional activity sessions.
