(Photo: Monique Kooijmans) - During the AUV Day on Saturday 21 November the winners of the AUV Alumnus Prize were announced. From 13 participating projects, set up by socially engaged UvA alumni, the jury nominated six projects for the AUV Alumnus Prize 2020. The first prize was won by Thijs de Lange with Wij Staan Op!, the only national organization run by young people with a handicap. The second prize and public prize were won by Sergio Garcia with El Maravilloso Reino del Ajedrez para Niños (Children Chess World).
