You will no longer be able to accept physical cards for the purposes of a right to work check, even if it shows a later expiry date. They will be removed from Lists A and B of acceptable documents within the Employers' right to work checklist. Right to work checks must be carried out in the prescribed manner before employment commences. To use the online service , the prospective employee must provide their date of birth and right to work share code. You should satisfy yourself that the photograph on the online right to work check is of the individual presenting themself for work.
