Durham/Demos book launched at Labour Party Conference The launch event for "Health In Austerity", the joint essay collection representing the culmination of the first collaborative project between the Wolfson Research Institute for Health and Wellbeing , took place on Monday 23rd September at the Labour Party conference. The event, in the form of a panel debate, attracted nearly 90 people to what was originally planned as a 60-capacity event. The panel consisted of Wolfson Executive Director Professor Clare Bambra, Diane Abbott MP, Debbie Abrahams MP, Dr Paul Williams, Mike Farrar, NHS Confederation and was chaired by Claudia Wood, Deputy Director of Demos. The collection includes contributions from Clare herself as well as Durham colleagues Professor David Hunter and Professor Ray Hudson.
