Durham University's Queen's Campus in Stockton celebrates twenty years of achievement with Robert Winston lecture Durham University is marking the 20th anniversary of its Queen's Campus site in Stockton on Monday June 17th with a visit from Professor Lord Robert Winston, who will be delivering a lecture that is open and free to the public at 3pm. The well-known fertility expert and television presenter's talk will be entitled "Hope, hyperbole and honesty: engaging with medical research". The occasion also marks the official opening of the GP training facility in the new 4th wing of the campus' Wolfson Building, a state of the art primary care training facility in partnership with Health Education North East, formerly known as the NHS Northern Deanery. It marks another phase in the University's ongoing investment in the site to continue world-class and sustainable development supporting education, research, student experience and ultimately contributing to the economy in the region.
