ECTMIH 2015: 2000 Global Health Experts gathered in Basel

European Congress on Tropical Medicine and International Health in Basel currently takes place at the Congress Center Basel. ECTMIH connects science, governments, non-governmental organisations, and industry and provides a platform for finding solutions to global health problems. The Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, Swiss TPH, is organising this congress in the congress centre at the Basel Fair, Switzerland. At more than 50 events on highly topical issues such as the spread of drug resistance, dealing with sporadic infectious diseases such as Ebola, and the new UN sustainability goals, participants strive for the most innovative solutions and implementation strategies for improving global health. "We need the best science for those most neglected on a global level," says Marcel Tanner, the recently resigned Director of the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, Swiss TPH, and president of the scientific committee of the conference.
