Hamburg is the only city to host the event twice in a row as the last conference took place online. Universität Hamburg, together with the DESY research center are hosting this year's Conference for High Energy Physics of the European Physical Society (EPS-HEP). The conference's public program begins on 20 August, with the conference itself beginning one day later. Public talks, exhibitions, and a concert in St. Michael's Church are all open to the public free of charge. At the European Physical Society's Conference on High-Energy Physics (EPS HEP 2023), researchers from all over the world gather to share and discuss their most recent findings from a broad range of fields in high-energy physics, including experiments in particle accelerators, the search for dark matter, and previously unknown elementary particles. -The most important discussion topics in this year include the search for a new, comprehensive physics that brings all previous theories of physics together, as well as an exchange about future, more affordable particle detectors and accelerators, and the technologies they require.
