Festival of Ideas launches design competition
Are you an artist who is inspired by big ideas? Do you want the chance to have your work seen by thousands? The Cambridge Festival of Ideas is offering aspiring artists the chance to design the Festival's programme cover. The themes of this year's Festival are Communication, Freedom and Revolution and entrants' designs need to be inspired by at least one of these. The winner will have their design showcased on 25,000 programmes and other publicity materials as well as receiving £200 prize money. All entrants' work will feature in an exhibition as part of the Festival. The competition is free to enter and entrants must be 16 or over to take part. The closing date is 27 May. The Festival of Ideas celebrates the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and is packed with over 150 mainly free events for all the family.
