Frank Verbeeten appointed as Professor of Accounting

As of 1 September 2023, Frank Verbeeten has been appointed Professor of Accounting at the Utrecht University School of Economics (U.S.E. Verbeeten will work at U.S.E. on topics such as sustainable (management) accounting, performance management and management control, combined with the role of technology within the finance function. Frank Verbeeten studied at Tilburg University (Master of Business Economics, 1993) and at the Darla Moore School of Business - University of South Carolina (Master of Business Administration, 1993). After his studies, he worked at Deloitte as a financial management consultant. In 2001, he defended his PhD thesis at Tilburg University, after which he worked at various universities (including Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam; Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University; and Nyenrode Business University).
