He is teaching a course on the "History of literature, history of violence." Édouard Louis is the author of two novels and several essays, as well as the publisher of two volumes on the philosopher Michel Foucault and the sociologist Pierre Bourdieu. In addition to his literary work, he is known in particular for his political commitment. Since 2016 Édouard Louis has been a Fellow at Dartmouth College (USA).
