Friendship is the winner at international sporting event

PA 213/13 Students from The University of Nottingham's UK, China and Malaysia campuses have come together in a week-long festival of sport at the fifth annual Tri Campus Games. Unique in the Higher Education sector, the Games allow students to sample international sporting competition, while making with peers from across the global and experiencing life at a different University campus. Held this year at The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC), the fifth annual Tri Campus Games saw over 200 students compete across 16 events under the banner 'friendship through sport'. Fond memories While team UK again retained the Tri Campus Games Trophy, the competition was enjoyed by all those who took part. Looking back at the tournament, organiser Nigel Mayglothling was delighted by both the standard of sport on show and the hospitality the teams received at UNMC. He said: "From the first evening we have seen fantastic team engagement, with "rivals" sharing meals and social time together throughout the event. The competition itself saw some outstanding individual and team performances.
