From 16 to 23 February, vice rector Mieke Van Herreweghe and a Ghent University delegation will visit Mexico. We list a number of highlights of the trip. The Belgian Foreign Trade Agency organizes two economic missions each year. From 16 to 23 February 2019 a joint economic mission to Mexico will be organized under the chairmanship of H.R.H Princess Astrid, Representative of His Majesty the King. A delegation from Ghent University joins the mission, together with the vice rector. Ghent University and Mexico As a pluralistic and socially engaged institution, Ghent University has always been a forerunner in the field of internationalization in higher education. A position that we want to further strengthen by, among other things, maintaining partnerships with institutes that offer higher education in countries and regions that are strategically important for Ghent University.
