In 2017, the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy will be celebrating its 200th birthday, as one of Ghent University's four founding faculties. This will be celebrated on 17 October 2017 and highlighted with Humanities 20.0, a critical and inspiring reflection of the role of humanities in the world of today and tomorrow.
