Italy: cooperation with Roma Tre University

The ENS de Lyon and Roma Tre University have cooperated for a decade in the field of human and social sciences, exact sciences and education. On March 10, 2016, the ENS de Lyon was pleased to welcome Prof. Vincenzo Mannino, vice-rector for international relations, with the aim of taking stock of existing cooperation, renewing the framework agreement and exploring development prospects. Cooperation ENS de Lyon - Roma 3 University - The cooperation consists in research collaborations (classical literature / ancient sciences, literature, philosophy, education, computer science..), exchanges of visiting professors, workshops, summer schools (ILOAM), joint supervision of theses and student exchanges. Prospects for future cooperation Both institutions agreed to renew their framework agreement for cooperation. This testifies to their strategic commitment to boost collaborations by opening them to other disciplines, such as physics, astrophysics, math or biology. This includes academic and student exchanges, with a view to spurring strong initiatives. These can include interdisciplinary summer schools (rare languages, literature, geology), research seminars, joint research projects, to name a few.
