Elections to the Central Councils will be held on November 26 and 27, by ballot box. This is an important moment in the institutional life of Aix-Marseille Université (AMU).
As part of these elections, you will be called upon to elect your representatives for the renewal of bodies.
When?
- Wednesday November 26 and Thursday November 27, 2025, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, for students (complete renewal of seats)
- Thursday November 27, 2025, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, for certain staff (partial renewal of 4 seats)
What?
For students : Board of Directors (CA), Research Commission (CR), Training and University Life Commission (CFVU)
For certain staff: Research Commission (College B, ALLSH, Economics, Management and Pluridisciplinary sectors) and Training and University Life Commission (College B, Legal, Economic and Management Disciplines sector)
How?
100% ballot box. A total of 40 polling stations on AMU sites. For those unable to attend on polling day, proxy voting is possible in accordance with the procedures defined in the electoral decrees.
Who can vote?
For students:
- All AMU students*,
- Students* of the IEP d’Aix-en-Provence (Sciences Po Aix), only for the Commission de la Formation et de la Vie Universitaire (CFVU) and the Commission de la Recherche (CR)
(*) depending on the body and subject to compliance with certain conditions specified in the electoral decree
For staff:
- Tenured* and non-tenured* teaching and research staff from colleges B, assigned to an active position in the establishment,
- Researchers and EPST* agents from colleges B, assigned to a research unit attached to AMU as listed in appendix 3 of the dedicated electoral decree,
- Tenured and non-tenured IATSS staff, and ITAR* staff, all’of whom hold a Habilitation ŕ Diriger des Recherches and come under college B of the CR,
- Staff of the IEP* d’Aix-en-Provence coming under colleges B of the CR and CFVU.

By voting to elect your representatives to the central councils, make your voice heard in the University’s highest bodies, and take part in the debate and definition of AMU’s strategic orientations!
All documents, and in particular the electoral by-laws, are published on the dedicated website
, where you will find all the information you need to know about the electoral process: conditions for being a voter, electoral lists, electoral campaign and candidacy procedures, in particular.
The electoral lists will be published by November 6 at the latest. As soon as these lists are published, you will be invited to consult the dedicated website to find out your college, your disciplinary sector and your voting location.
You will also be able to consult all the information relating to these elections and the corresponding downloadable documents on the website.
