More focus on shipping in climate policy

Held at TU Delft on Friday 10 June during the Port & Waterways symposium. He appealed for more attention to waterway transport in climate policy and for measures now to be taken to protect international maritime trade. Climate change: structural impact on ports, waterways and shipping. Waterway transport is of great importance to the global economy. Approximately 80% of all cargo worldwide will at some point be transported across water.
